From Early Beginnings

In 1982, Dotmar Fitness Equipment, born out of a love for the sport of weightlifting, opened as a supplier and distributor of weightlifting and fitness equipment and supplies. We slowly grew our business based on our three top priorities of fitness knowledge, equipment quality and customer service to become one of today’s leaders in the commercial fitness equipment industry across Canada. The majority of our business still comes from word of mouth and repeat business. We believe that if we surpass expectations, not only will our customers come back, but they will bring their friends with them. This has been proven again and again. With over 43 years in business, Dotmar is now the longest standing specialty fitness equipment supplier in Ontario and one of the oldest in Canada. That’s a lot of experience!
